There's no internet access!

Occasionally there are problems with the internet access at WRUW.  Here are some general troubleshooting tasks you can do before filing a helpdesk ticket.  

1.  Check if the internet access is everywhere in the station, or just at the machine you are operating.  For example, if you are in the air studio and don't have internet access, check the computers in Studio B and Studio A to verify their connectivity to the internet.  

2.  If the problem is unique to the computer you are working at, reboot the computer and check the internet connectivity again.  (The first thing we'll ask you is ... "did you reboot the computer?", so just go ahead and do it.)  

3.  If the whole station is experiencing internet problems, then CWRU is having network issues.  All we can do in this case is wait it out.
